Amir Abdulgadir
Our research
Amir weighs the dark matter of other galaxies with the stellar streams around them. Working from Euclid images, he finds galaxies with streams, subtracts the host galaxy's light to isolate each stream, and measures its path, width and brightness; together these constrain the host's total mass and shape, and taking away the stars leaves the dark matter.
